Detector performance and system integration
The IBL integration comprises the final assembly and functionality tests of the full assembly prior to installation in the ATLAS experimental area. The final tests aim to operate and study the completed IBL detector under realistic operation. The tests will provide a final and definitive QA of the assembled detector. Simulation studies of the IBL detector will aim at modelling the detector response at the lowest level tooptimize the performance of the IBL detector inside the ATLAS tracking system. Commissioning data of the IBL will be used by the ESRs to verify its performance.
